OUR STORY

Environmental Science Ltd Formed

1994

Environmental Science Group Ltd, formerly known as Environmental Science Limited, has been at the forefront of environmental consulting and solutions, since its establishment in 1994.

Over the years, we have evolved and expanded to our services to meet the changing needs of industries in the United Kingdom.

We were founded with a primary focus on assisting UK industries in complying with EU Health & Safety legislation. Offering comprehensive solutions for air-quality sampling, noise and environmental monitoring, LEV testing and COSHH risk assessments, we quickly gained recognition for our expertise and were proud recipients of the DTi Smart Innovation Award in 2001.

Our Beginnings

2020

Environmental Science Hygiene Ltd Formed

As we continued to grow, our dedication to innovation led us to a ground-breaking discovery. We developed the world's first ethanol derived from the sap of palm trees, a sustainable and renewable resource.

We established our subsidiary, Environmental Science Hygiene Ltd (ESH), and the Environmental Science Group (ESG) was formed.

ESH operate out of Nigeria, West-Africa, where the ethanol is sourced, and handles the bottling and distribution of our ethanol-based products, under the trading name Palmtree Hygiene Ltd.

Our Journey

Palmtree Hygiene Ltd Formed

Today, ESG's main focus centres around the authoring and checking of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and working with corporate clients, empowering them in the safe handling of chemicals.

We do this through our tutor-led online training to help recipients of SDS check and understand them, as well as via our in-house downloadable software, WASPS, through which users can generate visual hazard sheets to protect their frontline workforce.

Having used our ethanol innovation to produce an effective yet kind-to-skin and eco-friendly hand sanitiser, we are keen to collaborate and drive change in the industry. Recognising the significant environmental impact within the healthcare sector, we are actively working toward forging partnerships that promote sustainable practices.

Many hand sanitisers used today are petro-chemical bases or derived from crops, contributing to deforestation or food scarcity. Our Palmtree Hygiene foaming hand sanitiser offers a viable alternative that our teams are keen to promote.
