of WASPS
In
many situations the creation of Hazard Sheets for the
workplace is both costly and time consuming. This is aggravated
because often Data Sheets themselves change, or contain
ambiguous or even superfluous data. ESL have addressed
these issues by producing software that easily and
efficiently allows you to produce Custom Hazard
Sheets (WASPS Sheets) from Safety Data Sheets. Moreover,

did you know that from the 16th July 2005, the movement
of hazardous waste from premises that are not either
notified or exempt will be prohibited!
The amended regulations, known
as CHIP 3.1, will come into force on 1 October 2005.
Chemical suppliers should start preparing now for the
new classification and labelling requirements by
checking the classifications of the chemicals they
supply and start making the necessary changes to
storage, supply and labelling arrangements. All

WASP
Sheet Variant to be adopted by Pharmaceutical
Manufacturer
The
WASP (Work Place Action Safety Protection) sheet
initiative from Environmental Science is a tool to
enable organisations to effectively communicate hazards
information to their own workforce. Graphical in
nature, and therefore easy to understand by
non-technical personnel, the new hazards sheet has
attracted the attention of a key ESL client, who
confirmed in May 2004 that under the terms of a renewed
contract, WASP sheets are to be included as part of the
supply of data sheets. Find
